I am currently a professor in the Laboratoire Lagrange (UMR CNRS 7293, Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur), at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis.

I have been a member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF) in 2010-2015.

My research interests lie at the intersection of statistical signal processing and machine learning, and how they have synergistic effects on system monitoring. In particular, my recent research works mostly focus on online system identification in a variety of forms, including

  • Nonlinear adaptive signal processing
  • Adaptive filtering subject to equality/inequality constraints
  • Diffusion adaptation and learning over networks
One of the applications of these derivations concerns hyperspectral data processing, which can be considered as a Big Data problem that requires online processing techniques.
